Our Story
The Lost Pages Bookstore is coming to Shawnee, Oklahoma — a place where books are more than merchandise. They are conversations, memories, and doorways. We carry new titles alongside pre-loved books waiting for their next chapter, and we believe a great bookstore is as much about the community gathered inside it as the shelves lining the walls.

Tuesdays · 5:30–7 p.m.
Writing is better with company. Bring a work in progress, a first draft, or just a willingness to try. Sessions are led by a published author with 30+ years of experience and guided by the belief that every story deserves to be told.
Thursdays · 6–7 p.m.
Step away from the screen and into something better. Bring whatever you're reading or find something new on our shelves. One hour, good books, good company — no talking required.
2nd Friday Each Month · 5:30–7 p.m.
Are you a poet? Let us know it! Join us on the second Friday of every month to read your poetry — or other short creative work — and get audience responses. Next gathering: Friday, July 10.
Saturday, July 11 · 11 a.m. – Noon
Biscuit is back! This blind and partially deaf therapy dog listens without judgment and loves every reader just the same. Join Biscuit and his handler Alexis for a children's literacy event featuring Rocket Writes a Story by Tad Hills and This Way, Charlie by Caris Levis. Kids can read to Biscuit, read with Biscuit, or just soak up the stories. A perfect Saturday morning for young readers and their families. Free to attend.
Saturday, July 11 · 1–4 p.m.
If slow-burn cowboy romance is your thing, you won't want to miss this. Skye Lynn Bailey will be in the store to sign copies of her Forgotten series. Stop in, browse the series, and get your copies signed.
Sunday, July 12 · Noon – 5:30 p.m.
Have books you no longer want but know you'll only get pennies for them if you sell? Bring them to the event room at The Lost Pages and meet other readers with books to trade. Work out your own terms, stay all afternoon, and leave with fresh additions to your to-be-read pile. The Lost Pages Bookstore makes no money from books traded during this event and will not process any cash transactions between patrons.
3rd Sunday Each Month · 2–4 p.m.
Instead of a book club, we're starting with a book chat. Come in with whatever you're reading and tell the group about it. If enough people are reading in the same genre or theme, we'll launch a club. Next gathering: Sunday, July 19.
