Our Story
The Lost Pages Bookstore is an independent bookstore in Shawnee, Oklahoma — a place where books are more than merchandise. They are conversations, memories, and doorways. We carry new titles alongside pre-loved books waiting for their next chapter, and we believe a great bookstore is as much about the community gathered inside it as the shelves lining the walls.

From haunted English castles to the rainforests of Puerto Rico, he has traveled the world to experience first-hand many strange places and unexplained phenomena — and in his latest book, he proves that some of the biggest mysteries can be found right here in Oklahoma.

Instead of a book club, we're starting with a book chat. Come in with whatever book you're reading and tell the group about it. If enough people are reading in the same genre or theme, we'll launch a club.

Oklahoma City author Jason M. Light brings the chills with The Garage, his horror novel that proves the scariest things can lurk just around the corner. Come meet Jason, get your copy signed, and prepare to never look at your garage the same way again. Perfect timing for Halloween season.

Store owner and author Steven E. Wedel celebrates the expanded re-release of his short story collection Darkscapes. Come celebrate with us and pick up a copy of this expanded edition of dark fiction from one of Oklahoma's own.

Children who come to The Lost Pages in costume on Halloween will receive candy and a free book while supplies last. Bring the little ghouls and goblins in for a treat that lasts longer than candy.

Did you try out a blind date you met at The Lost Pages? Come join the Blind Date with a Book Club — kind of like a support group — and talk about how your date went. See if you want to date a book read by somebody else. Romance is unpredictable. That's half the fun.
Tuesdays · 5:30–7 p.m.
Writing is better with company. Bring a work in progress, a first draft, or just a willingness to try. Sessions are led by a published author with 30+ years of experience and guided by the belief that every story deserves to be told.
